Account Manager

Vetsweb is looking for a highly driven, outgoing and tech-savvy Account Manager to support and grow our customers.  As an Account Manager, your role will be a hybrid between Customer Success and Sales: you will provide account management and support to an assigned group of customers, and you will help generate new business by identifying growth opportunities and pursuing organic, paid, and referral based leads.

We are looking for individuals passionate about customer success and always put the customer first. Ideally, you can handle a high volume of communication, prioritize multiple methods of communication at the same time, and never sacrifice the customer experience.  We need highly organized individuals that can stay on task and make the most of their time.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with all types of customers to provide strategic recommendations, answer questions, and offer support through calls, emails, and webinars
  • Onboard and train new accounts to help clients extract the full value of Sprout
  • Identify growth opportunities within our customer base through outbound and inbound lead generation and qualification. Work with our Account Executives to qualify opportunities and ensure smooth transfers
  • Work cross-departmentally with internal teams such as Finance and Support to handle billing requests, account audits, and escalate issues
  • Exceed quarterly KPIs by providing premier customer support
  • Exceed activity and pipeline goals on a quarterly basis
  • Perform other duties such as participating in department initiatives, side projects, and pilot groups

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 1-2 years client relationship experience in the technology industry
  • Education background in business, marketing, related field OR equivalent experience
  • Enthusiastic about technology with demonstrated technical aptitude
  • Empathy and a unique ability to understand customer needs
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Sales experience is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of social media tools
  • Salesforce.com or other CRM experience is a plus
  • Social media management experience is a plus
  • WordPress knowledge a plus
